Create your own town.
Face the challenges of a mayor.
Expand your city’s economy and turn it into a metropolis.
City builders are a very interesting type of game because they allow you to build your own city from scratch and it’s safe to say that Super City is no different. This is a title that allows you to create the city you always wanted, and it gives you only a few pointers that are specifically created to help you learn how to play.
Each city has its own challenges though, and yours will surely be the same way. You will have to collect taxes from each business and make sure that everything runs properly, that there are enough people in your town and each one has a safe place to work. Some buildings are harder to construct and they need to be finished in multiple rounds.
Also, each building has specific requirements and prices, some cost bucks, other cost coins. While the coins are easier to gain, the bucks are mostly the game’s currency, and you can use real money to earn them. Each action you perform in town, even tax collection will help you raise your level, which in turn will give you access to more unique and interesting items that can be placed in town.
You will be guided through missions, each one being varied and unique, so you will definitely have a blast checking out each objective and playing accordingly. As you would expect, each action requires energy which recharges in time, but if you want you can purchase energy with bucks.
Additionally, you can choose to expand your town as you grow, a strategy that works really well. You do need a lot of coins to do that but in the end having a larger city will be more than rewarding. Most of the time you will spend collecting taxes, building new roads, constructing new buildings and so on, but you will also face different challenges.
Some buildings need to be filled with crates before they open, others work only at times, and so on. You need to figure out the traits of each building and build roads as you expand. The tricky part of the game is to keep everything in balance as you try to expand your world.
Graphically, the game looks good, with a 3D engine that doesn't really shine, but in the end cutting edge looks is not what a city builder is about. It does look good enough for the average Facebook game lover, so it’s enough.
To sum up, Super City is a very interesting and quite appealing city builder that will definitely eat up a lot of your time once you get into it. It’s not repetitive, because each town is different, and you do have the opportunity to customize your city the way you want. With no restrictions, lots of buildings to place and an exquisite game experience, Super City is a fun title that’s worth playing.
