In Farm Up you will be able to take a ramshackle and run down old farm and turn into the perfect location for you to raise crops and animals. You buy the farm from the former owner and begin to work on it to make it better. He stays behind to offer some advice and he also gives you several quests to complete.

Once you are in control of the farm you are given a tutorial showing you where everything is that you need. There is a shop that sells everything from seeds to new plots and decorative items. As you begin to play you will be given a series of quests.

Completing quests will reward you with experience and money, there may also be collection items and other prizes available for you as complete the quests. Every quest that requires you to buy something will have a shopping cart icon. If you click it you will go straight to where you need in the shop, which is a nice touch and makes finding things easier.

Many of the actions that you take will require 1 of your energy points. You begin the game with 30 and once you drop below you maximum you will receive 1 energy every 5 minutes. As you click on items to use them or plant crops you have a chance to collect Realores, these are special tokens you can trade in for more energy.

There are 2 currencies in Farm Up, silver and gold coins. Silver coins are used to buy all of the items that you need for your farm, and gold coins can be used for special purposes such as finishing a crop early or automatically completing a quest for you.

Silver is earned by selling items and from quests. Gold coins are earned every time that you gain a new level. You also have the option to buy both silver and gold coins through the game with a variety of packages available for you. This game is 100% free to download and play with the option to buy coins if you want, you don’t have to to play the game, but it will make it faster.

There are lots of different quests available for you to play and finishing them will often give you good rewards. Being able to speed them up is really nice, however if you speed up a quest you do not actually receive the item, for example using a coin on a quest to grow strawberries will not give you the fruit, just the bonus for completing the quest.

Farm Up is a really pretty game, with great graphics and a huge range of crops, items and decorative objects. The gameplay is really simple, just using the mouse to click once will send your characters off to work there.

Having said that the game can sometimes feel a little slow, and the progress is not as fast as some other games. Although the ability to refund some energy fast with Realores is really nice, and you don’t have to spend real money for energy.

Overall Farm Up has a lot of fun little things added and is an enjoyable game to play. With some great looking areas and graphics you will be entering a very luxurious looking game. The quests flow nicely and are simple to play and Farm Up is great fun for all the family.
