Welcome to Teen Nick Avatar University. In here, you have your very own university that you can manage and students that you can groom to your own preferences and personal rules. This world is totally yours to modify and maintain, so there are no holds barred in here.

First off, Avatar University is free to play. You don’t need to purchase something in order to play the game. You simply go to the website, and start a game from there. You can choose to start a new game, or pick up where you left off.

There is a short tutorial created by the developers for you to understand how to navigate the world of the university. You can choose to end the “orientation,” as the avatars refer to the tutorial, but it would be a good idea to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the game before you play the real thing.

This virtual world simulator is basically very easy to understand. At the top part of the screen, you have the game screen - this is where you see and navigate through your students, and where you make them do activities.

To make an avatar undergo an activity, simply click on its name in the game screen. A pop-up menu will appear with the possible actions that he or she can do. Click on the action that you like, and the avatar will do it for you.

Because it is a university, you have a campus to manage. That’s where the Campus Map comes in. In here, you can see the buildings in your campus as well as the list of students who are in each building at that particular time. Click on a building to see what everyone is doing in there.

Alternatively, if you want to find out what each student is doing and where he or she might be found, you simply refer to the list of students below the game screen. There, you can see what they are thinking and where they are at that point in time. Click on each student and you’ll be taken to their locations.

There are a lot of things that you can do here in Teen Nick Avatar University. For instance, there’s a music center in here where your students can play music when you ask them to. There’s the Dormitory. You can have each avatar talking to one another. You can make them play catch with a discus at the Quad. The possibilities are numerous!

You can also customize your avatars, but only before you start playing the game for real. Take that opportunity while you’re still in orientation, as you won’t be able to do so once you end the tutorial.
